I will say it again where can I find an employer who will hire me back after I have been gone for a year with no explanation!  When your employer is your good friend, who loves you, whose life you saved, who has done his own share of fucking things up, who routinely takes back workers who spontaneously go on sabbatical with no explanation, who knows enough about the shit you’re forced to live with to know that if you’re not around for a year and can’t say why that it was probably some hardcore shit, and who is always in need of new staff because his has a curiously high mortality rate.
