See! Everyone was all like, “No, Eric would never be friends with Bill!” and I was all, “You’re wrong, they have a begrudging respect that shall soon blossom into a bromantical extravaganza like you can’t even imagine.” And now, Alexander Skarsgard has confirmed it, but what do you bet me people will still come forward talking about how they don’t believe that they will actually be friends? Sigh, people need to accept this is happening. Not because it is a particularly wonderful direction for the show (it is predictable as all hell) but because if you don’t get on board now, all you are gonna feel next season is outrage because you thought Bill was the bad guy on the show when he and Eric are actually the dual male leads.  

I’m sure many a detective or lawman has been intrigued by the more crafty and diabolical criminals that they pursue. Especially those svengali types that just seem to be able to get everyone around them to do what they want, despite a complete dearth of charm, likeability, or capability.

I mean, if I knew a fellow who beat up a girl and drugged her, and then even after the girl in question was made aware of this, she actually apologized to the dude (for getting her face in the way of his fist?), I too would be intrigued by whatever Jedi mind tricks he be using, and might, should all other resources fail, attempt to befriend said svengali dude. For in doing so, I might learn just what these Jedi mind tricks are made of, so that I might use the fucking Force for my own goddamn self and might just end up being a Big Damn Heropire.

And Big Damn Heropires are kind of like Highlanders, there can be only one. And Bill Compton is just…not up to snuff. In all kinds of ways.
